Jose Paronella came from Spain to Australia sometime early 1900 to work on cane fields. He had a dream. He wanted to have his own villa in the rainforest. After many years of hard work he eventually did. A nice and also tragic story. The Paronella Parc was destroyed by mandy floods and cyclones, but the remainders of it are still there and quite beautiful... Cooking next to the beach at Mission Beach.
