Sailing on Hitchiker

On Whitehaven Beach.

We had a great time on the Hitchhiker- as Robert would say, it was just "superfantastic"!!

Auf dem Wasser

In einer Stunde werden wir auf ein Katamaran ziehen! Wir werden fuer eine Woche mit David und Sherlee um ein paar Trauminseln segeln. Die Inseln heissen Whitsundays. Wir freuen uns schon riesig darauf! Die Fotos werdet ihr natuerlich hier zu sehen bekommen...

Waterfalls, Paronella Park and Mission Beach

Eine kurze Abkuehlung unterm Wasserfall. Dort gibt es keine Krokodile oder lebensgefaehrliche Quallen.

Jose Paronella came from Spain to Australia sometime early 1900 to work on cane fields. He had a dream. He wanted to have his own villa in the rainforest. After many years of hard work he eventually did. A nice and also tragic story. The Paronella Parc was destroyed by mandy floods and cyclones, but the remainders of it are still there and quite beautiful... Cooking next to the beach at Mission Beach.
